LA Best Babies Network provides technical assistance and links to resources for Best Babies Collaboratives, Healthy Births Learning Collaboratives, Healthy Births Care Quality Collaborative, First 5 LA and its strategic partners as well as other community agencies and advocates working to improve birth outcomes in Los Angeles County. Our technical assistance includes: guidance for the organizations working directly with the Healthy Births Initiative to help them deliver targeted services in areas of highest need; and for all stakeholders interested in improving pregnancy, birth and early infancy outcomes by dissemination of information and tools; assistance locating perinatal research, educational materials and evidenced-based healthcare and community practices; perinatal policy development; assistance with community engagement, collaboration and assessment, program planning, implementation and evaluation.
