LA Best Babies Network provides technical assistance and links to resources for Best Babies Collaboratives, Healthy Births Learning Collaboratives, the Healthy Births Care Quality Collaborative, First 5 LA and its strategic partners, as well as other community agencies and advocates working to improve birth outcomes in Los Angeles County.
Our technical assistance includes guidance for the organizations working directly with the Healthy Births Initiative, helping them to deliver targeted services in areas of highest need, and guidance for all those with a stake in improving pregnancy, birth, and early infancy outcomes through the dissemination of information and tools.
The Network assists in perinatal research, provides educational materials and information on evidence-based healthcare and community practices, and perinatal policy development; as well as support for community engagement, collaboration and assessment, and program planning, implementation and evaluation.
