Service Planing Area 3 - San Gabriel
Mission: To promote healthy birth outcomes, through a wholistic approach that incorporates community involvement, education, social support, access to services and strengthening families.
The SPA 3 Healthy Births Learning Collaborative (HBLC) is a network of community members, consumers, care and service providers, public health professionals, reserachers, leaders, advocates, and others, who meet regularly to work together to improve pregnancy and birth outcomes in the SPA 3 area. |
| SPA 3 is located in the Pomona and San Gabriel Valleys, encompassing 720 square miles, with an estimated population of 1.9 million.
SPA 3 Communities include: Alhambra, Arcadia, Azusa, Baldwin Park, Claremont, Covina, Diamond Bar, Duarte, El Monte, Glendora, Industry, Irwindale, La Puente, La Verne, Monrovia, Monterey Park, Pasadena, Pomona, Rosemead, San Dimas, San Gabriel, San Marino, Sierra Madre, South El Monte, South Pasadena, Temple City, Walnut, West Covina.
